Hello I am Fatima from Iran, a 3rd year pharmacy student at Semmelweis University. Unfortunately I lost my father which was our family's main income provider and with this pandemic situation everything went out of control and my mother can not support me financially anymore. We are suddenly unable to provide the additional funds I'll need for finishing my studies abroad. I am devastated and helpless and am using my last option to fulfill my career. It is my sincere wish to attend university this fall and that is in jeopardy now.Your help and support would mean a world to me and it would change my life completely.Thank youFatemeh

Baraka ALLAH fikoum !
Dear All, On September 15, 2020 our colleague and friend Alexander (Sasha) Filatov passed away surrounded by his family. He leaves behind his loving wife and their two amazing young children. If you knew Sasha, you know about his larger than life heart and his dedication to his family and work. He was one of the most hard-working people we know, always there to help and provide any support needed.Because Sasha is so well loved by his co-workers and friends, we have been flooded with questions about what can be done to help. We have created this voluntary fundraiser to help provide his wife and children with some support in these difficult times.Thank you.Katie Shan, Ruth McAuley, Torsten Bartsch, Alexey Shpikalov, Vassilissa Rybak and Vicki Kramer

The project will last from October to May, for 4 hours/week and will benefit about 100 children. From us all, we are sincerely thanking you for any help you may contribute in bringing this project forward.

Hello everyone & welcome to this money pot!We are Judit and Jona and we are raising funds to support an Indian family that we consider like our own one, to finance 7 years school for Aruni, a 10-year-old girl, and Rajni's (19) and Tanuja's (17) university. We met Dinu when we volunteered nearby his town last January and we were always welcome at his house for dinner or for a tea. We were always very happy to see his lovely niece and his nephews and to play with them. They have a very modest live. Dinu lives with his parents, 3 sisters, brother-in-law, 2 nephews and one niece. The men are the ones that work outside from home and earn the money. They rely on the high season to earn as much money as possible, to have enough during the lower season. Women look after the house and the kids. Eventhough they have enough to live, it is a struggle to pay for a proper education for the kids and for the youngest sisters that just started university. We believe that now is our time to help them. Aruni is 10 years old, she's very intelligent and a very extrovert kid. She attends a public school and receives a standard education and very basic English classes. She has a very high potential and she deserves a better school. Bare in mind that schools in India go from very basic, to acceptable or if you can afford it, you can pay for a private school where you will receive a very good education. It is a shame that public education hasn't good standards, and this is why Aruni's family would like her to go to a semi private school (which is just 88€/year). Rajni (19) and Tanuja (17) are also very intelligent, caring and very curious women that have big dreams for their future. They refused to marry in a young age and instead go to university. To receive a good education in India means that you will have higher chances to get a better job in the future and that you will be able to become an educated and an independent woman. They both are very engaged within their community, where they teach women about different topics. As we mentioned above, education leaves ignorance behind and empower women to have the courage to try to change a bit the dynamics of their society. In 2020 we are trying to summon up money for at least one year of education for all the three: * 7 years school education for Aruni = 614€Monthly tuition fee Rs 600 (7,3€) = 88€/year * 3 years university for Tanuja and Rajni = 3.105€Admission Rs 3300 (40€)Registration fee (first year) Rs 2000 (24€)Form fee Rs 2500 (30,5€)Books + material Rs 4500 (55€)Monthly transportation fee Rs 1600 (20€) or 240€/yearMontly tuition class fee Rs 1000 (12€) or 144€/yearPer person/3 years: 509,5€/year and 533,5€ first year = 1.552,5€ First year: 1155€ Wetruely believe that this wonderful people deserve a better future and there is no better way of granting this than getting a proper education. Do you help us? We trust Leetchi as it is a transparent platform and the entire amount will be transfered to the purpose mentioned above. Dinu and his family can't thank you enough for this. Thank you very much :) Judit and Jona
Hello everyone & welcome to this money pot! With just 1-click you can help a student cover school fees and expenses I am a refugee from Cameroon living in the Vathy refugee camp in Samos, Greece. Due to my current legal status I am unable to work, however I volunteer six days a week as an interpreter for the medical organisation Med’EqualiTeam, who provide free primary healthcare to the refugee population living in the camp and the town of Vathy. I have worked with the organisation since November 2019, which is an example of my commitment to the project and my desire to work. I want to further my education in order to have access to wider job prospects in the future. I wish to contribute to society, particularly through humanitarian work and feel further academic study would enable me to do this. The opportunity to study would allow me to use my time in Samos effectively and provide me with something to work towards which will enable me to successfully work in the field I wish to pursue a career in.
Hello everyone & welcome to this money pot!In July 2019, Shamjhana and Shreejan started to build a learning center for poor children of the rural village Dhading. Welcome to My Campaign for support for my Education and Health needsThis is a request for your help to get me through my studies and back to good health. To do this I need a safe place to spend the next year, and I need financial support to get this. Please read my story and share, and if you can contribute with donations, short term loans, or by referring me to other people that can support me that would be welcome. Thank you for reading on and helping me to gain a sense of security for my future. 😊 If you know me, then probably you already know this, but for those who don’t: I describe myself as a dancer and a teacher from Iran. I wish I could dance and educate others with the spirits and knowledge related to dance until the end of my lifetime, as I believe it has so much power to make changes to human lives. This is why I started studying Choreomundus Masters in Dance Knowledge, Practice and Heritage, a special programme that involves four different European Universities. I started this programme in 2018 and I was due to finish it this year in the UK, and although it has been wonderful, the current pandemic on top of other issues have meant I am far behind from finishing and therefore I need further support to complete this programme. I have encountered many challenges with my mental and physical health in the past year of my studies, and now I must find a way to achieve two goals: recover my health and complete my degree. To achieve these I need to stay close to the institutions of my programme and away from my home country that has harshly been hit by Covid19 and faced with even more of severe political hardships (started back in Nov 2019) and therefore a place of no peace and safety (for also political reasons for me personally). Also, I must find my way through all the uncertainties that surround me; I am not entitled to work legally and Covid19 has made everything in this regard even more complicated. This is why my plan to travel to Australia for a reunion with my brother is not possible at the moment. My visa for the UK ends in 3 months, and I need to go to somewhere that will let me stay, and continue studying for another year to get my life on track. Upon an offer of pure love and kindness from an academic friend in Sweden (also a traditional dancer), I am able to stay with her while I regain my health and complete my studies. I can apply for a visit permit for up to 12 months, and this should allow me to recover in peace and security for some time. Even though my friend is offering sponsorship for food and accommodation, to make sure I can gain this permit (as I am Iranian and therefore not favoured for being granted), I must also show a bank account of at least 12000 Euros (capability to survive for 12 months without her support). I am unsure yet if I will be allowed to work at all with this permit, but I cannot rely on this as a possibility despite wishing to support myself. I have saved as much as I can from my scholarship for this master’s, but with this coming to an end imminently I will not have enough without your help. Right now, I am standing in what feels like a thick fog with my suitcases packed. I must prepare myself to continue this battle, and it certainly is a battle. I am also fighting for my health at the moment (both mental and physical), trying to get treatment from an overstretched system that is running at much lower capacity due to lockdown here in the UK. This year in Sweden is my chance to get my wings back, to continue building my chances for a PhD/job next year in the subject I love; dance. HOW CAN YOU HELP? 1. Health & Education Matters: If you wish to donate to my educational and health goals, to get me through another year and help me towards my future I would be of utmost appreciation and gratefulness. You might not believe, but even 5-10 pounds per person can make a big change for my safty, health and education, if I receive from many. 2. My Residence Permit Application: I am only asking for donations. If you instead would be willing to lend me a sum to support my resinedce permit application that would help me also. The more money I have in my bank account before printing the statement for the application, the better. I can transfer this money back immediately after downloading my bank statement. Please contact me personally to discuss this if you feel able to help me in this way. MY CLOCK IS TICKING! I must hurry to submit my application by July 14th the lattest, as the waiting times may be considerably lengthy. 3. Share My Campaign: I would be so grateful if you could share this with people you know who might be able to help. 4. Contact Me: Please reach me at my email or facebook “Shouresh Pouya” for anything related to this campaign if you needed to or if you thought you have suggestions. Thank you for your time and care to read my story. Wish health, a safe place to live, and happiness for all! With love, Elnaz

Flaka's Farewell Money PotDear colleagues & friends, For Flaka's farewell, we are raising money for KAEF (Kosovo-American Education Fund), an organization she very deeply cares about. Her having worked with them throughout the past weeks has made it possible to onboard KAEF to benevity (Link) and thus, opened the opportunity for a Google matching. The money raised will be donated and matched by Google, doubling your kindness & generosity.Read more about KEAF here: Established in 2004, this fund is dedicated to the long-term economic development of Kosovo through the education of its most promising youth and professionals. By investing in education, KAEF enhances a cadre of trained individuals to addresses the shortfall in human capacity in the country. Fully funded fellowships provided by KAEF support Kosovo’s young leaders, who embark upon graduate studies at top-level US universities. (Website)
“The question is not only what planet we will leave to our youth, but what youth we will leave to our planet.” Support young adults in developing their perception of the common good, opening ways to a more solidary future. We are a greek-french couple and we have founded a center for personal and inter-personal development on the island of Aegina in Greece, Oikia Karapanou (http://www.karapanou.com/) one of the first of its kind in the country at the time of its establishment in 1995. The School Of All Relations was born out of the wish to respond to the acuteness of global disorder by offering empowerment to the young generation. Thanks to the support of over 30 volunteers and 20 trainers coming from all over the world, the School opened its doors in November 2015. SOAR promotes the education of consciousness through an exploration of the relation to self, to others and to the greater whole. We offer 4 to 6 month long, international, community rooted programs to young adults aged 18-30. Our aim is to provide them with a stepping stone towards a fruitful adulthood by supporting them in developing a grounded relation with inner and outer resources which will give them the strength and inspiration to become adults of integrity, respectful of all life, able to respond creatively to the challenges of their time. The SOAR program (link here) combines a set of workshops fostering personal development and community building interwoven with daily practices in mindfulness, body work, communication, group dynamics and more, all embedded in the deep learnings of community life. SOAR is a non-profit initiative, mainly funded by the participation fees. We do not benefit from any kind of grant or financial support. During the first two years, striving to lower as much as possible the participation fees, the hosting team worked on a completely volunteer basis. In 2015-2016 we self-funded two full scholarships for two young Greeks. In 2016-2017 we created our first crowdfunding platform and thanks to the generosity of many friends, we managed to offer 6, full or partial, scholarships. Those two first sessions, 6 months long each, had such a deep, beneficial impact on the development of our participants (See testimonies here) that we decided to continue no matter the cost. We are now working towards our upcoming session (a 4 month long one this time, January 13th-May 3rd), still on a volunteer basis for the whole of the organizing team and for some of our contributors. In parallel we are investigating ways to establish the school’s sustainability. Please help us support some young people who aspire to this opportunity but who cannot meet the financial cost. Scholarships will be granted in priority to young Greeks.Young Greeks have been struggling for years with uncertainty, lack of opportunities, unemployment and often depression within their close environment. The majority of them are highly educated and speak more than two foreign languages. However Greece’s current socio-economic environment pushes them more and more to isolation, self-doubt and a sense of powerlessness. We would particularly like to offer them a possibility to gain the skills, insights, experiences and connections that will help them give meaning to their life and empower them to resume taking initiative. By helping us to offer a scholarship not only do you contribute to the education and the well-being of an individual, but to a social change impulsed by young persons, in service of the common good.A full scholarship (covering accommodation, food, teachings, material, travel costs etc...) amounts to 5000 euros. Our wish is to be able to provide a minimum of three.Every donation is precious. There is no small amount. Even 5 euro will give us great encouragement to continue our work. We thank you for your support!

Hello everyone & Every contribution - no matter the size -will help me to continue the medical study and to help me to be a doctor.I am 2nd year student in University of Szeged. Before I came here I already worked for 3 years to earning money for my study. Next semester I have used up my own money and accidentally my old parents don’t have ability to afford the tuition fee. I still don’t want give up. Because whenever I go to the hospital I always remember the doctor who helped me and saved my life during my childhood. Whenever I see the situation in my country that doctors are too busy to care of the amount of poor patients. That always motivates me to do something even just a little help.So donations from caring people like you make it possible for my dream coming true.Thank you for investing.Your support means everything. With just 1-click you can help a student cover school fees and expenses* Give however much you want* All payments are 100% secure* It's easy & transparent!Thank you!
Jana
