While travelling through South America by car we crossed the border of Ecuador and Colombia in Rumichaca. There we saw so many Venezuelan refugees in such great misery without the help they needed, that we decided to stay. We started this NGO, and have been working together succesfully with local and international organizations to give them the help they need. Please visit us at: www.lheurevidehumanitaire.orgInstagram: L'HEURE VIDE humanitaire L’HEURE VIDE humanitaire is a small network-based NGO focused on short-term projects in emergency situations involving refugee issues worldwide. Our approach is to assist existing humanitarian aid structures and local associations and to supplement them when their opportunities to act are limited or restraint. Our aim is not to direct or to implement. We are there to help. This approach ensures that we can focus on what is needed on the ground and in the now to fill the gaps in aid left by big organizational structures and complex international policy. As a small and nimble organization, we are not limited by bureaucracy or massive overhead. This allows us to concentrate our efforts where we excel: organizing the available resources in a hands-on, creative way to produce tangible results quickly and effectively. Dear IBPG members, As we strongly believe in deliberate practice, we decided to offer online sessions during the lockdown. We have been truly blessed with more and more colleagues joining our practice group from all over the world and becoming new friends. Thank you! As you all know, IBPG is not an association of any kind from a legal point of view, we are just a group of colleagues and dear friends who volunteer to set up regular practice sessions for all conference interpreters. In the previous years we have applied a membership fee of 15EUR/year for our onsite sessions, to cover the basic expenses (mike, website, etc.).This year, we would like to ask for a donation in order to allow us to cover the Zoom subscription. We would also like to revamp our website and add a couple of extra plug-ins which could make the registration process easier..!If you wish to help us, we would be very grateful! Since we launched our online sessions, we had the pleasure to welcome members from all over the world. We understand that in certain markets this fee might have a bigger impact on your annual expenses, therefore, please feel free to make even a small donation. Thank you, and see you at practice! Hello everyone & welcome to this money pot! Nandri Association India public charitable Trust aims at enabling women to earn their own money and thereby to make their own choices and become self-reliant through tailoring and stitching projects. Since 2009, some underprivileged and poor women from rural and very backward villages around Mahabalipuram (Tamil Nadu-India) are identified and enrolled in the Nandri Trust Program. Opening up this tailoring training and job opportunity does not only provide them with a salary but also helps to raise confidence and to increase the weight of their voice and their share in decision making processes within their families. The Nandri Trust Program is structured around 3 steps that are all interdependent: 1- The 10 months intensive tailoring course within the Nandri Trust Tailoring Institute based in Mahabalipuram provided for free. Here the women learn the basic sewing, stitching and tailoring skills and thereby enabling them to continue with us in a professional working environment. 2- After the training the women are given the possibility to join our sewing studio as permanent staff. All the employees have followed and completed the Nandri training course. 3- Childcare: these women mostly mothers, poors and without family support struggle for sustenance during the training. It is to meet their needs that we created a small kindergarden. the “Nandri Kids Villa” where the mums can earn professional skills while their kids are properly taken care of. The entire structure is managed by women who took part of the program. We started the project back in 2009, the rental cost were entirely covered by donations till now, we were facing some difficulties to cover all the training costs (buying the fabrics / materials and sewing machine) and insuring meals all year long for the women and the kids. In the mid long term, the goal for Nandri Trust was to be self-sustained without having the need for any monetary support from the outside. Unfortunately, because of the Coronavirus pandemic, all the ladies in our association no longer have jobs, some of their husbands have also lost their jobs and all these families are struggling to survive with this health crisis. Our association is trying to raise funds to support these women and their families. Your donation is important and precious during this special difficult time! It will help 17 ladies and 36 kids from villages around Mahabalipuram! Thank you for them! 200 rupees = 2 days of meal for 1 family (200 rupees = 2.23 euros)(200 rupees = 2.73 USD) With just 1-click you can donate to a good cause* Give however much you want* All payments are 100% secure* Why Leetchi.com? To all of you,Now we need to think about the future. Arlène has send you a debrief of the panel and we are now working on the next year event and the different operation/ communication we should organize in between. The next event will be hosted by José Gordon and Noemi at BODEGA EL CAPRICHO.We need to create a board of members in order to communicate easily and make some decision for creating a formal entity. That's why i am sending this email to a selection of our members. Then we should agreed on the purpose of this Institute; transmission, knowledge etc...and our position in regard to a potential partnership with Butcher Manifesto. Just a quick reminder that the central idea is to recreate the bonds between the farmers, the butchers, the chef and the consumer. We all believe that all they all need to be educated, informed and connected. We should also ask for the Masters a small annual contribution in order start the process. We are asking 100 £ by person and 300£ by company.Because We need to: - select the board members, president and officers - do the legal and corporate ( status, registration, accounting) - create a logo - fixing a guideline for the Institute exchang and work with Arlene on the next event Best, FRANCK

Hello!Dear friends, Skiing and suffering 90km to finish Vasaloppet is good, but doing it for Brune and Paola will be even better! We are a group of 15 skiers, French, Swedish and from many other places of the world to run Vasaloppet in February and we want to make it a special edition by helping Brune and Paola to get the personal support they need at school to follow a normal scolarity with the other children.Vasaloppet is the world’s oldest, biggest and longest ski race (and toughest, trust me !) and our team of fine athletes will do their utmost to improve their personal best or simply finish it before wolves and bears eat them alive in the dark forests of Mora. Please donate generously to support us and to support Brune and Paola to get the much needed personal help at school! The Vasa Team

Hello friends, family and guests of "Les Néréides"!Since 2011, our holiday rentals have generated an annual donation of 800 to 1000 euros so that Cambodian children in need can live and grow in a safe family environment. They need our support as much as ever, but with Covid, our bookings have raised just 220 euros. Here, you can donate a small part of what you may not have spent on a foreign holiday this year, and help us reach our usual amount. We have all lost a lot in 2020, but hope is around the corner. Let’s make sure the children of Krousar Thmey can enjoy some of that hope too!Thank you from them and from us, for whatever you can contribute.Best wishes for the holidays and for a bright and better New Year,Suzanne & Jean-François Presentation of the projectThe project aims to support a family house in Cambodia in order to help marginalized children to be reintegrated into their families and society, through emotional, educational, and material support. The family house in question (named "Kpop Veng") welcomes street children who have suffered from important trauma into a safe environment, tailored to their needs, while providing them with the resources and care they require to become independent and responsible adults.BackgroundBorn in 1991 in the Site II refugee camp in Thailand, Krousar Thmey (“New family” in Khmer) is the first Cambodian foundation helping underprivileged children. Its mission is to enable the integration of underprivileged children into Cambodian society through education and support adapted to their needs, with respect to their traditions and beliefs.Kpop Veng family house is one of the four family houses run by Krousar Thmey in 2020. The house opened in 1999 and is located in the city of Takhmao, in the suburbs of Phnom Penh in Cambodia. Sokhy, the mother in charge of the family house, has been working with Krousar Thmey since 1999, which demonstrates her reliability and provides a sense of security to the children. After 20 years, she is always enthusiastic and still passionate about her work.Currently, the house welcomes 8 children (4 boys and 4 girls). How will the funds be used? The funds will be used to support the education, health, hygiene, nutrition, as well as cultural and recreational activities for the children of the Kpop Veng family house. For instance, a contribution of:- 5$ covers the expenses allowing the children to do gardening for a month- 10$ covers the price of school uniforms for one child for one year- 37$ covers the food for one child for one month- 50$ covers extra English classes for the children for one month Thank you again for your support !

Save the jaguar and help the Matsés tribe in Amazonia !WHO ARE WE ?Our story begins in 2018, when our founders Dennis, Hector and Guillaume set off on a 5-week expedition to one of the most remote part of the rainforest in the Reserva Nacional Matsés among the matses tribe looked relentlessly for signs of jaguars, to ultimately try to photograph it. Their quest for the magnificent jaguar will lead to a sad-but-common realisation, only a few of them left. There are probably many reasons for this but discussions in camp revealed one of them could be that they are sometimes shot by other village hunters, fearing being attacked. A reflection which led, to the creation of our association : Jaguar Matsés Connection.OUR MISSIONOur association have two main purposes. The first one is to save the Amazon jaguars which are threatened by the surrounding tribes who hunt them for various reasons. The objective is to protect this graceful animal which is unfortunately in the process of disappearing. To do this, we are contacting the surrounding tribes: the Matsés, in order to establish a dialogue with them and limit the hunting of jaguars. At the same time, we track down the remaining jaguars to ensure their survival.Secondly, we take the opportunity to help these Matsés tribes who are far from any infrastructure. They are in dire need of care, medicine, materials... We also help them by providing them with these essential goods. This approach allows us to make the Matsés tribe and the jaguars live in harmony by making sure they have everything they need.We need you to help us in this adventure !WE NEED YOUR HELP !Today we need your help to save the jaguar and help the Matsés tribe. We need sufficient resources to carry out expeditions and to have the necessary equipment to pursue our missions. The donations collected thanks to you and to this kitty would allow us to finance and realize the following missions:* From 1000€ collected: we will have the necessary funds to buy cameras and specific equipment to watch over the remaining jaguars in the region and save them. * From 2000€ collected: we will be able to provide the Matsés with more goods: medicines, equipment, comfort... in order to improve their living conditions and help them. * Finally, if we raise more than 3000€, we will be able to establish sustainable means of communication and meetings with the Matses and their families in order to best respond to their needs. We count on your generosity to give life to its beautiful projects that will greatly help the preservation of the Amazonian fauna and its ancestral tribes. HOW CAN YOU HELP US ?To help us it's very simple, just click on the "Contribute" button on the right and you can select the amount of your donation. No matter how much you donate, every euro brings us closer to our goal and our missions. From 3€ of donation, you can register to a lottery in which we will make you win several gifts: books, bags, chocolate, coffee... to thank you for your generosity. If you want to register to the lottery, please replace your name by your Instagram or Facebook username when you donating, in order that we could contact you after if you win something. The draw will take place live with games and animations on Thursday 6th of May at 7pm on our Facebook account and Instagram: @JaguarMatsesConnection . We count on your presence.Thank you very much for your generosity! The Jaguar Matsés Connection team.
ICCM is Creating Opportunity, Protecting People and the Environment, by Reducing Waste ICCM is a Malawian based social enterprise dedicated to tackling the unceasing issue of waste and our aim is to not only protect the environment but also the people who live in it.Our main focus is educating the community with our ‘Reduction, Reuse and Recycle’ strategy but we also implement waste management best practise, waste collection and commercial consultation. We rely heavily on our amazing volunteers and this allows us to pour any revenue into our projects and programmes but in order to spread our message further we require more funding to employ talented and dedicated individuals with the skills to take this enterprise further. We have already provided education programmes to schools, expanded our commercial waste collection to over 30 businesses and funded community workers in starting their own eco-friendly businesses but with your help we could do so much more! Your donations will help to preserve the undisputed natural beauty of the area, reduce respiratory disease in adults and children and allow us to help communities thrive where poverty is rife. As COVID 19 is closing in on Malawi Duty of Care to our waste collection workers is key, this money will be prioritised to ensure our team have the correct PPE to start. All other donations will be used to build the capacity of communities to manage waste to improve their health, livelihoods and environment. THANK YOU ............................................................................................................................... Our vision is to create and maintain a healthy environment by reducing pollution and the damage caused by unregulated waste disposal. Our waste ‘Reduction, Reuse and Recycling’ strategy is imperative to support this goal. In the 4 years ICCM has been operating we have documented evidence-based research, secured income streams from waste collection and waste reduction business services. We provide commercial consultation/advice and deliver school programmes on environmental and waste management best practice. We support commercial activity and education in the community which helps relieve poverty and improves positive ideas/behavioural change. We currently rely heavily on volunteers due to limited funding, but as we expand our aim is to identify new sources of revenue which will enable is to become self-funding, allowing us to employ talented and committed individuals who share our values. Studies clearly document the negative effect that poor waste management has on the health and wellbeing of communities in Malawi. Broad environmental issues include water, soil and air pollution, as well as greenhouse gas emissions from uncontrolled open waste sites and associated transportation. https://assets.publishing.service.gov.uk/media/57a08a06ed915d3cfd000550/EoD_HD099_Oct2013_Solid_Waste_Mang_SL.pdf. UN-Habitat (2010) reports that prevalence rates of acute respiratory infections among children living in households where garbage is burned in the yard can be six times higher compared to houses where waste is collected regularly. Our team work to transform waste into a resource, creating economic incentives as social drivers to behaviour change. Our achievements up to date include:• Environmental waste management (re-use & recycle) best practice education to students in both government and private schools.• Training and supported development of the skill-sets of ICCM employees and volunteers.• Supported Clement Kandodo, a former ICCM volunteer in setting up his own successful environmentally friendly biogas company.• Increased the skills of practical innovators enabling them to become productive environmental designers and teachers.• Engaged with over 30 organisations & businesses promoting environmental best practice and compliant waste collection services.• Created a platform for waste stakeholders to discuss key issues for knowledge sharing, efficient waste management and waste innovations.• Secured a ‘Letter of Support’ from Environmental Affairs Department (Malawi Government) to setup waste collection in the Capital City of Lilongwe. ICCM need financial support to deliver an increasing number of vital educational activities and projects. This will enable us to hold and regularly deliver waste educational waste management events, youth panel meetings, entrepreneurship events and activities to promote ethical waste management practice. Equally we are committed to supporting waste innovators with the provision of design knowledge, tools and equipment to enable them to generate income from agri-waste and eco-waste derived product or solution sales. If you would like to help us make a real difference - where it is desperately needed by making a donation, you can be assured that every contribution, no matter how large or small will be appreciated and be used effectively to Create Opportunity, Protect People and the Environment by Reducing Waste. Thanks again
